Football fans languishing in the doldrums of the summer break will have to wait no longer; on Thursday 14th June the World Cup got underway, ushering in a month of footballing coverage and the chance to cheer on your team. Sadly for those who aren’t particular fans of ‘the beautiful game’ there is a simple choice; join in or take your chance on the mix of sunshine and showers predicted by the Met office for the next month.

Nevertheless, there is something compelling about the World Cup. Do you remain loyal to one country no matter what the outcome? Do you have a number of favourites, giving you the chance to cheer on ‘your team’ in multiple matches? Or are you more open, switching from one country to another as fortunes change?
