It Never Rains ..........

The past weekend saw the Devon County Show at Westpoint and that usually means only one thing - after one of the driest Aprils on record, the rain arrived. Luckily, the weather restrained itself from delivering the kind of downpours which forced the show to be abandoned a few years ago. But even if the rain had intensified the showground was better prepared, having (as its website comments) “invested very heavily in improving drainage over the last few years.”

It’s this preparation and planning alongside a desire to continually improve which has led to the county show being a success over so many years. It’s a lesson which we can take into other walks of life; the importance of reviewing, planning and preparing in order to deliver successful outcomes.
