Life Goes On

In a few short days it will be over; all of the rhetoric, all of the hype will have faded away to be replaced by certainty. No we’re not talking about the Euros, we covered that tournament in last week’s article. This time we are considering the EU referendum which, at the time of writing, is a mere three days away.

Opinion polls are still showing the result as too close to call; hardly surprising as those who are voting are being given the task of shaping not only the future of the UK but also of its trading partners across the globe.

Whatever the result, one certainty is that when the voting ends Beckworth will still be here providing long term financial planning advice for its clients. Because whatever the result people will still need to save for their retirement, people will still need to manage their investments in order to fund long term care and people will still need to invest with their current circumstances and future anticipated needs in mind.
