Supporting Your Favourite

Fans of sport have had a lot to cheer about this autumn with the Rugby World Cup coming to England. For those who were unable to secure tickets to the matches, the fanzones have proved popular. In fact the England v Wales match saw a considerable number of the Beckworth team enjoying the atmosphere in the Exeter fanzone!

We all have our favourite team but one of the great things about sports such as rugby is that even when our first choice is not playing, we can still enjoy watching a great contest. And when it comes to events such as the World Cup, if we only watched our own team playing then we wouldn’t get the best out of the competition. It’s a lesson which translates well into investing. We may have our favourite country or business sector but if we only invest in one area then we may not get the best of what the whole marketplace has to offer.
