What are you doing between Christmas and New Year? For some it will be back to work as usual, whilst others will be filling their days visiting friends or relatives, or simply enjoying some quiet time at home. Interestingly, for a number of people this is the time for filling in online tax returns. Last year HMRC reported that over 24,000 returns were filed over the three-day Christmas period, with 148 returns being submitted on Christmas Day between 12 and 1 PM.

The week between Christmas and New Year is also a time of reflection; of being proud of what we have achieved over the past year, or resolving to do more in the year to come. Here at Beckworth, we are happy to look back at a year in which our team was enhanced by the addition of Jessica Seller who has brought exceptional customer service skills and an enthusiastic attitude to her role as administrator. We’ve also revamped our website, adding features such as videos and additional news items for the benefit of current and, hopefully future, clients.

We are proud of the way in which we care about our clients and their families’ financial well-being. Our resolution for 2016 is to continue to maintain the consistently high standard of service which we believe our clients deserve. May we wish you a very happy New Year.
